What is the Building Performance Tune-up Program?
The Building Performance Tune-up Program is designed to help facilities with more than 35,000 square feet maximize energy efficiency. By partnering with GFS, you’ll receive a comprehensive assessment of your building’s performance, along with customized recommendations to improve energy savings and reduce costs.
Our Building Performance Tune-up Services Include:
- Benchmarking your building to state specifications using ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager
- Conducting an ASHRAE Level II audit to provide a detailed road map for compliance
- Implementing low-cost adjustments that can reduce your building’s energy use by an average of 5%–20%
Maximize Incentives, Minimize Costs
By participating in the Building Performance Tune-up Program, you may be eligible for incentives through BGE and EmPOWER Maryland that could save you up to 85% of the cost for tune-up services. These incentives are provided at the lesser of $0.30 per kWh saved or 85% of total project costs, capped at $100,000 per project.
