GFS completes Retro-Commissioning project at Ft. McNairApril 2, 2013-GFS completed an in-depth commissioning project at three buildings on the Ft. Lesley J. McNair Army Post in Washington DC. The project was delivered under the Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) agreement with Washington Gas Energy Systems. GFS provided all on-site retro-commissioning labor to evaluate the operation of HVAC systems and HVAC controls within the three buildings. GFS team in NYC to assist with building evaluations in aftermath of Hurricane SandyNovember 13, 2012-GFS will assist in developing short- and long-term solutions required to return a 36-story class A office building in the Wall Street district to full occupancy by December 10. The building, impacted during Hurricane Sandy with flood waters from the storm surge, houses financial institutions. GFS will be on-site to work with local NYC contractors and the building owner to repair, replace, and upgrade systems damaged during the storm and subsequent flooding.
